in real-time at Frank Lloyd Wright home in Clifton
Nov. 18, 2011

Cincinnati, OH – Homeowners, landlords and commercial businesses can learn how to save hundreds of dollars each month by improving energy efficiency with a cost-effective solution that stops air leaks while improving comfort. Adding Insulsmart TM insulation is one of the first steps in making the 54-year-old home LEED Certified. Recently the home was registered for the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification process. The goal will be LEED Platinum.
When: Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, starting at 9 a.m. The project should take until 3 p.m. Visitors are welcome to stop by anytime. There is no charge but please RSVP. Email Chuck Lohre,, or call 513-260-9025.

Who: Perry Leitner, CEO of Blue Chip Energy Services, and managing partner of Smart Foam Insulation LLC,, will be performing the Insulsmart TM installation with his factory certified crew. How: The Insulsmart TM non-expanding foam is injected into the lower wall cavity and fills the voids between the concrete cinder-block. The crew will use a thermal imaging camera to trace the 100-degree foam’s progress as it fills the nooks and crannies of the cinder-block all the way to the top of the wall. This non-expanding low VOC closed cell foam (MADE IN THE U.S.A.) can also fill other wall cavity applications such as wood and metal stud walls, cathedral ceilings, and brick on block.
